Description
This journey moves gracefully between two remarkable worlds — the golden savannahs of northern Tanzania and the mist-covered mountain forests of Rwanda. It begins among elephants and lions roaming the plains before rising into the volcanic highlands where one of the rarest wildlife encounters on Earth awaits.
From the baobab valleys of Tarangire National Park to the extraordinary wildlife sanctuary of Ngorongoro Crater and the endless grasslands of Serengeti National Park, the safari gradually builds toward its final moment.
High in the bamboo forests of Volcanoes National Park, travellers step quietly into the realm of mountain gorillas — an experience both powerful and profoundly moving.

Day 1 - Arrival in Arusha
A private transfer leads to your lodge in Arusha, resting at the foot of Mount Meru. Surrounded by lush coffee estates and cool forested slopes, the evening offers a peaceful beginning to the safari adventure.
Day 2 - Tarangire’s Elephant Kingdom
Tarangire is famous for its towering baobab trees and immense elephant herds. Along the Tarangire River, giraffes browse the acacias while buffalo and antelope gather along the water’s edge.
Day 3 - Into the Ngorongoro Highlands
Open savannah slowly gives way to fertile farmland and forested hills where Maasai communities continue their traditional pastoral life.
Day 4 - Safari in the Ngorongoro Crater
Within the vast caldera of Ngorongoro Crater, grasslands, acacia woodland, and soda lakes support an extraordinary density of wildlife including lions, elephants, flamingos, and the rare black rhinoceros.
Day 5 - The Serengeti Plains
Wildlife sightings begin immediately as zebras, gazelles, and giraffes roam across the open plains beneath an endless African sky.
Day 6 - Flight to Rwanda
Arrival in Kigali introduces a vibrant and welcoming city before the road climbs toward the Virunga Mountains.
Day 7 - Volcanoes National Park
Towering volcanic peaks rise above bamboo forests and terraced hillsides, creating one of the most dramatic landscapes in Africa.
Day 8 - Gorilla Trekking
Guided by expert trackers, the trek enters the dense bamboo forest of Volcanoes National Park in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. Spending time with these remarkable primates is a quiet and deeply moving experience.
